This lake still has some issues with declining bass populations but big fish can still be caught. Pre-fishing for the 2007 tournament picture above my dad caught a 7 pound female but unfortunately was not able to duplicate it in the tournament. ABA Tournament results were not impressive and one team with only 3 fish got in the money. Size of fish was decent with big fish at 5 lbs even, but quantity of fish was not there. The picture from 2003 was caught on a white spinnerbait around the end of a fallen tree. The 2007 fish was caught on a green pumpkin/ black jig with smallie beaver trailer around a railroad trestle.
