Tenmile Lakes continues to be one of the most popular bass lakes on the Oregon coast. Tenmile is actually a connection of two lakes (North and South) through a canal. Early in the year, Tenmile traveled to by many bass fisherman and tournament anglers looking for large prespawn fish. 2008 proved to be a crankbait year for me personally although 2007 my bait of choice was a drop shot Zoom lizard. Each year brings new challenges with changing weather patterns. Storms are frequently changing conditions so bring your confidence bait and be patient and you will eventually find the fish here. The lake is full of largemouth bass as well as many other species of fish. |
